Year Thirteen has begun which means new foals for the spring season. That's right our last article was introducing the foals born at Bowen Acres. The little critters are all experiencing the world around them however, as we were glancing through the weanling pastures with their mothers close by we got a glimpse of adorable Incitatus.
It appears that the baby colt was willingly teasing us to run and chase after him. This young guy is the second son of Bucephalus and it appears the colt looks exactly like his head strong father. He is also a son to Declarate a somewhat accomplished sprinter. The tongue sticking out of this colt proves that he will be a tough one out there. Look at those long legs we are excited to see this guy on the tracks come racing season.
Tatu as he is nicknamed will be training as soon as he becomes a yearling. But, we were not the only ones who the colt was challenging to run after him. That's right Tatu also challenges his own mother to race after him.
Bowen Acres has an incredible crop this year who will also be racing against incredible crops at other stables in the future. They have high hopes for their horses and some of their crops come from champions. We are excited for this colt to hit the tracks next year. He will make his sire proud for sure.
